UW Summer Youth Programs, Co-Teacher, June 2020-August 2020

Co-taught the courses "Creative Writer's Workshop" and "Writing for College Readiness" for high school students.

Developed comprehensive lessons to expand critical thinking skills, and adjusted them based on student feedback.

Independently lead lessons including "A Brief History of Teaching English in the US," "Understanding the Reverse Outline," and "Worldbuilding in 2020."

Assembled materials and resources to assist lead teachers in adjusting their lessons to an online platform and shifting pedagogy to address anti-Black racism and the COVID-19 epidemic.
